Wendy H. Weiss, MA, RD
Professionally, Wendy has been a registered dietitian since the late 1990’s. Wendy earned a bachelor of science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with the University of Delaware and holds a master’s degree in Health Communications from a joint program between Tufts University and Emerson College.
She has managed an active career in public relations, consulting for food, nutrition and health-related business. She has produced health and pharma promotional videos and she has managed adult, pediatric and family nutrition counseling and community weight management courses.
She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as well as specialized practice groups within business and communications, nutrition entrepreneurs, and culinary professionals. She is a proud co-author of “The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Guide to Nutrition Communications (August 2020),” a textbook for food and nutrition professionals seeking to build their knowledge and skills in nutrition communication as well as for future professionals in undergraduate degree programs and graduate degree programs.
On a personal note, Wendy is a wife and the mother of two. She loves good food, cooking, entertaining, gardening, a great trail run and keeping her body active. Nutrition has been a part of her life for as long as she could remember. These passions drive her work interests.
